What does TRX stand for?

You won’t be jogging with a Tyrannosaurus Rex, it’s Total-body Resistance eXercise.

What kind of workout is TRX?

TRX is suspension training using your own bodyweight and gravity to create intensity for building muscle, strength, power, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability.

TRX workouts

Who invented this, anyway?

TRX was designed by a Navy Seal who needed to workout in limited space and stay in impeccable shape.

Is TRX only for advanced levels of fitness?

You don’t need to look like a Navy Seal to participate. TRX is for all levels of fitness! You are in control of the challenge. Move closer or further away from the anchor point to add or decrease resistance. No need to change weights. You choose the intensity of each exercise and tailoring the workout for your body.

Why is TRX effective?

TRX maximizes your workout by switching between exercises in a matter of seconds. Not only that, but there are literally hundreds of exercises that can be utilized to connect and strengthen your body. Additionally, TRX moves on a multiple plane, training your body for functional fitness. You aren’t just pushing and pulling or lifting up and down with one or two major muscle groups. The increased range of motion reduces the chance of injuries while developing a strong stable core and working all the limbs.

TRX is so versatile, no wonder its all the rage! Sign up for a class today!
